LILLINGTON — There are new developments in the strangeand sad story of a double murder in Harnett County.
Francis Brewington and her great-grandson were found dead after a firedestroyed their farmhouse last week.
Now, the Harnett County Medical Examiner says smoke eventuallykilled them, but that someone stabbed the woman before the fire evenstarted.
Her grandson and two of his friends have admitted to plotting thewoman's death, allegedly for her insurance money.
