Wake County Unveils New Look for Cars, Uniforms

Posted June 10, 1997

— The Wake County Sheriff's Department is showing off some new color schemes for its cars and uniforms.

The new look for cars include a white paint job covered with reflective decals. That design, according to Sheriff John Baker, will save taxpayers $300 a car.

New deputy's uniforms are being bought with the money confiscated in drug busts.
