ROCKY MOUNT — A 4-year-old asleep in her bed was killedduring a drive-by shooting in front of her Rocky Mount home Saturdaynight.
Little Brittany Johnson was struck by a bullet and died a short timelater.
Police said just before 11 p.m. several people began firing guns at thehouse. Eight bullets penetrated the structure, which is on Rex Street.
Officials are following up several leads in the case.
