TARBORO — Students at Southwest Edgecombe High Schoolare mourning the loss of a classmate.
Brandon Whitlark, a junior at the school, died Thursday night when histruck ran off a rural highway south of Tarboro.
School counselors are encouraging parents to talk with their kidsover the holiday weekend.
