<b>LILLINGTON</b> — A state prison escapee is going back behindbars for up to 23 more years.

William Rodney Bass pleaded guilty Monday to attacking a Christianradio announcer. Prosecutors say Bass and another inmate escaped last yearand assaulted Reverend Anthony Brock. Both his arms were broken.

Bass pleaded guilty as part of plea agreement. Jury selection for theother inmate, Anthony Pinchbeck, begins Tuesday.
