GARNER — North Garner Middle School is carrying on with day-to-day activities just days after its principal stepped down. Gregory Norris resigned Thursday after the Wake County School District launched an investigation into charges Norris misused school funds.

School officials also found that Norris had at least one charge of driving while intoxicated on his record. Catherine Nance has a student at the school. She says there has not been a great deal of outcry since the investigation was announced.
