RALEIGH — Free immunizations will be offered forchildren by Wake County Human Services during National Infant ImmunizationWeek, April 20 - 26.
The shots will be offered Sunday, April 20 from 2 - 6 p.m. at WalnutCreek Amphitheatre. The event will be sponsored by Kidworks.
Immunization schedules call for children to be vaccinated at birth, 2,4, 5, 12 and 15 months of age. They are protected against hepatitis B,diphtheria, lockjaw, whooping cough, Hib disease, polio, red measles,mumps, German measles and chicken pox.
