WILSON — Police in Wilson are investigating an overnightshooting that left two people dead.
Authorities say a man and woman were standing on the porch of anapartment, when they were shot by a third person. It occurred about 2:15Saturday morning at an East Nash Street apartment house.
Neighbors told police the assailant was a male friend of thewoman, and that six or seven shots were fired.
Police have not released the victims' names, but said both were intheir 30s, and were residents of Wilson.
Investigators continue to look for the man implicated in the shooting.
