CHAPEL HILL — Police in Chapel Hill are beefing up their patrols after vandals trashed 60 cars last weekend.
Slashed tires and scratched paint jobs were reported in the weekend attacks. Police think that the vandalism may be related to similiar incidents in Durham two weeks ago.
Officers will be on the streets in force this weekend in Chapel Hill to try to stop the vandalism from happening again.
