<b>CHAPEL HILL</b> — Police in Chapel Hill are beefing up their patrols after vandalstrashed 60 cars last weekend.

Slashed tires and scratched paint jobs were reported in the weekendattacks.  Police think that the vandalism may be related to similiarincidents in Durham two weeks ago.

Officers will be on the streets in force this weekend in Chapel Hill totry to stop the vandalism from happening again.
