ROCKY MOUNT — Investigators think falling asleep behind the wheel may have been the cause of a Nash County accident that killed one person on Monday.
A van was traveling on Interstate-95, when the vehicle jumped a guard rail, and plunged into the Tar River reservoir.
Two passengers were rushed to Nash Hospital. They are in critical condition.
Investigation of the accident continues.
