PRINCEVILLE — Two people were killed and four injured in a wreck in Edgecombe County Sunday afternoon.
Officers said one car crossed the center lane of US-258 and hit another head-on about 2 p.m. The accident occurred one mile north of Princeville.
Sharon Holmes and Natasha Holmes, both of Tarboro, were killed.
Investigators said charges are pending against the driver, Kerrie Holmes. Holmes was seriously injured.
