School's Walls Cleared of Graffiti

CHAPEL HILL — Buckets and heavy-duty brushes were theorder of the day at East Chapel Hill High School over the weekend, aspeople worked to remove graffiti.

The graffiti was discovered Saturday morning on the building's exteriorwalls, on columns and trash containers. Crews spent Sunday on a clean-upproject.

The school's principal, David Thaden, said he will do all he can tohelp police determine who is responsible for the vandalism.
