WILMINGTON, N.C. — The kidnapping-murder trial of Todd Boggess will proceed as scheduled. Defense attorneys made a last minute bid to delay the trial, arguing that the prosecution was too slow in providing them with vital information.
Monday, the judge disagreed and accused thedefenseof trying to delay proceedings.
Boggess and his then 14-year-old girlfriend are accused of kidnapping and killing a Wilmington honor roll student. The trial is set to begin Monday.
