Seeing all those people lined up waiting for the means to provide theirfamilies with the basic necessities was overwhelming to some. Beyond thedowned trees and power lines, Fran's fury has struck at the heart ofsurvival for some.
The scene was similar in other areas cities. In Fayetteville, ninelocal radio stations urged people to donate everything from food tocleaning products.
Fayetteville responded.
Organizers of the Fayetteville were very happy with the turnout, andsaid they expected no less from the people there.
