Church Group Delivers Food to Triangle

RALEIGH — Thanks to a youth group from an Ashevillechurch, there are 2,000 boxes of relief supplies in Raleigh, ready forthose in need.

A tractor-trailer load of the 75-pound packages pulled up to the BrooksAvenue Church of Christ Friday morning, packed with food, paper products,and other useful supplies for Fran-drenched Triangle residents.

Eddie Field, youth director for the church, says the items are available to anyone who needs them.

Anyone who needs help is welcome to visit the church at 700 BrooksAvenue in Raleigh, between Hillsborough Street and Wade Avenue.
