<b>RALEIGH</b> — The terrorist bombings in New York and and at the Pentagon last week will mean a delay in the execution of Robert Bacon.

On Tuesday, Gov. Mike Easley announced that Friday morning's execution is off. Easley said it is only fair to make sure Bacon has full access to courts.

The execution will take place in two weeks.
