One Dead, Three Injured In Raleigh Drive-By Shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one man dead and three others injured.

The shooting occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of

Beauty Avenue

. Police said the four men were standing near the shoulder of the road when shots were fired at the victims from one or more vehicles traveling westbound on Beauty Avenue.

Investigators said when they arrived at the scene, they found Jamel Amien Jeffreys, 19, dead. Three other men -- Deron Terrell Signal, 24, Antwyon Dawayne Hill, 22, and Jeremiah Stephanas White, 19 -- were taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hill and White were treated and later released from the hospital. Signal was released Sunday afternoon.
