Man Found Dead At Wake County Store

e-mail print friendly

Wake County authorities are investigating the death of a man found inside the In & Out Food Mart Friday.

Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said when some customers went to the Creech Road store early Friday morning they found the door was open, apparently with no one there. When they returned later, they went into the store and found 43-year old Osama Hussein dead inside.

The customers contacted authorities, who are investigating. Hussein's cause of death has not yet been determined, but Wake County authorities are treating the case as a homicide.

It also remains uncertain whether money or other items were taken from the store.

Authorities are looking for a blue Dodge Caravan with N.C. license tag

that has rust spots on the top. Authorities would not say how the minivan may e linked to the incident, other than to say that while the vehicle is often parked at the store it currently is not.

If you have any information about the vehicle or about the case, you are asked to contact the Wake County Sheriff's Office.
