Duke Student Found Not Guilty Of Resisting Arrest, Trespassing

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — A Duke student accused of trespassing and resisting arrest was found not guilty Monday.

Durham police testified Monday that Duke senior Joe Friemuth refused to leave the Belmont swimming pool when he was asked to by police in September.

However, witness testimony contradicted the police testimony.
