<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — More than two dozen people who lost everything in a weekend apartment fire will get some help from their friends on Tuesday.

Flames destroyed 20 units at Carrington at Brier Creek in Wake County on Saturday. The fire was sparked by lightning. Twenty-six people lost their homes.
