Raleigh Antique Show Draws Fans From Far And Wide

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — Everything old is new again when you are buying at the Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza.

Thousands of people eyed thousands of items from years, sometimes centuries past.

The show is held twice a year at the Raleigh Civic Center.

Whether it is silver or glass or something that looks like something that used to be in your grandmother's house, the show has something to thrill antique fans from all over.

"(The antiques and shoppers come) not just from North Carolina but from all over, Roanoke, Virginia, Georgia, (and) South Carolina. It's a wonderful, wonderful show. I'm always keen to come to it," said antique fan Sarah Mendel.

If you missed the three-day event, there is no need to worry. The show returns in the winter.
