DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are trying to find a man wanted for kidnapping his 4-year-old son.
Police say Stevie Gardner took the boy from his daycare without the mother's permission. He eventually dropped the boy off unharmed at a lawyer's office in Durham and disappeared.
Gardner is also charged with holding his ex-girlfriend's stepfather hostage in February. The victim was not hurt. Call police if you think you can help.
