DURHAM, N.C. — One of Durham's most wanted criminals is headed to jail.
Lorenzo Mondragon pleaded guilty to a 2001 attempted rape and a 2003 attack on a jogger. He apologized in court before the judge sentenced him.
Mondragon is an illegal immigrant who was also convicted of DWI.
He will spend at least eight years behind bars.
