DURHAM, N.C. — Durham authorities found a murder suspect they were looking for.
Thomas Kithcart Jr. is wanted in connection with a 2001 homicide on Ridgeway Avenue.
Police say the victim, 51-year-old Willie Johnson, was beaten and possibly robbed.
Investigators charged Kithcart after people with information about the case came forward earlier this year. He turned himself in to police.
