CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — UNC students paused Thursday night to remember Keith Smith.
The sophomore died last week after he and a friend crashed through third-story window. Smith and Tyler Downey had been racing down a dorm hallway.
Students held a vigil for Smith in the Pit outside the UNC Student Center. Downey is still in the hospital.
