WILSON COUNTY, N.C. — Wilson County authorities said a missing Alzheimer's patient was found Tuesday afternoon alive near his home.
Authorities said John Henry Witherspoon, 69, was reported missing by his family Monday. He was last seen by them on Saturday.
Witherspoon, who has a pacemaker and is in poor health, according to authorities, was found near his home on Highway 91 in Wilson County.
His health condition was not immediately known.
