Fayetteville Man Murdered At Office

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — December 17, 2000

A Fayetteville office was the scene of a murder late Sunday night. Police say a man was murdered at his wife's place of work.

Thirty-year-old Marty Theer and his wife, Michelle, went to Harbin and Associates Sunday night to pick up some papers.

Police say Mrs. Theer heard shots and when she came downstairs she found her husband dead.

He had been shot several times.

Police have not determined a motive or identified any suspects.
