DURHAM, N.C. — Police blocked off two blocks of South Roxboro Street as they searched for an assailant who fatally shot a teenager who was standing on the front porch of a house Monday evening.
City police said the teen died at Duke University Hospital shortly after being shot while he was at 2427-B S. Roxboro St.
The shots came from a gold car with dark windows, described as possibly being a Toyota Camry or a Saturn, police said.
Police blocked off South Roxboro from Charles Street to Cornwallis Road while they investigated.
