RALEIGH — Raleigh police have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man Saturday. The suspect's name will not be released; he is a juvenile.
The 24-year-old victim has been identified as Luis Santos. He was shot in the head at the Cinnamon Ridge subdivision off Wake Forest Road. The shooting occurred about 4 p.m.
Santos had tried to run but collapsed about 10 feet from where the gun was fired.
Police said when they arrived an unidentified person was attempting CPR on the victim as the suspect fled in a vehicle.
Authorities had transported about 10 witnesses to the downtown Raleigh police station for questioning.
