Midway Adds More Flights From RDU

RDU INTERNATIONAL — Midway Airlines is increasing its presence at RDU International.

Midway will addthree more weekday, non-stop flights to New York's LaGuardia Airport starting August 31.

The increased service now allows Midway to offer nine daily weekday nonstop flights each way. This is more than any other airline offers between Raleigh-Durham International and New York.

In all, the Triangle-based airline now offers 19 daily flights to the New York area.

Delta also just added flights to LaGuardia, and there is word United is considering an RDU to Denver route. That route will not likely be finalized until United pilots approve their new contract.
