WADE — Cumberland County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man from Dunn. They believe he was involved in a fatal shooting Saturday night.
Twenty-one-year-old Franco Evans was shot to death about 11 p.m. at a house in Wade.
The sheriff's office says Evans had an earlier confrontation with a man named Joe Nathan Ward.
They believe Ward is the one who shot Evans. Now they're hunting for 41-year-old Ward.
Anyone who knows where Joe Nathan Ward is is asked to call the Cumberland County Sheriff's office.
