Take A Spin In The General Lee With The Duke Boys

CARY — "The Dukes of Hazzard" went off the air 15 years ago, but a Cary company has revved up new interest in the show.

TheSony Playstationversion of"The Dukes of Hazzard, Racing for Home"continues as a top seller. Players can take a spin in the General Lee around Hazzard County, Georgia.

Bo, Luke and Daisy are in the game as well as Boss Hogg and Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane.

Actor James Best, who played the sheriff, visited Cary'sSouthPeak Interactiveto record his Roscoe voice track for the game.

Waylon Jennings and the others also took part in the game developed by Chapel Hill'sSinister Gamesand marketed by SouthPeak Interactive.

Catherine Bach (Daisy), Tom Wopat (Luke) and John Schneider (Bo) starred in the series and will appear in a reunion movie.

The PC version of "The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing For Home" will soon be available in stores and by mail order.
