Hearing To Decide Health Issues Surrounding Manufacturer

A hearing is scheduled in Randolph County today that should decide whether state health officials can force a foam manufacturer to stop using a toxic chemical.

The Trinity American Corp. plant in Glenola is now operating under a temporary restraining order.

Health officials have declared Trinity to be a health nuisance, citing illness in 20 people linked to a chemical used at the plant. Tuesday, a judge said Trinity could continue operating as usual
