<b>EMPORIA, VA</b> — A 78-year-old Virginia man who  disappeared earlier this week after a holiday visit to Raleigh has been found.

Joseph Edward Weaver was discovered safe and sound sitting in his car just outside Emporia, Virginia.

Weaver had left North Carolina Monday at 10 a.m., heading back to his home in Suffolk, Va.

He didn't arrive home when expected, and for days no one knew where he was.
