VANCE COUNTY — Vance County commissioners are making some changes to their animal shelter.
Animal loversprotested the waythe shelter was run and the lack of heat.
Commissioners voted Tuesday to grant an additional 10 days for animals considered adoptable, lower Humane Society adoption fees and create a seven-member Animal Control Advisory Committee.
