FAYETTEVILLE — Seven people lost everything in a Saturday afternoon apartment fire in Fayetteville.
Fire raced through the Cambridge Arms Apartments off McPherson Church Road. Eight apartments were ruined by fire and water damage, though three were unoccupied.
One person was hurt, though not seriously.
The Red Cross helped the burned-out residents find a place to spend the night. Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire started.
