ZEBULON — Zebulon police and fire crews will resume a two-pronged search Monday for a woman missing since Thursday.
Officials are conducting an underwater and ground search for 78-year-old Clenton Morgan Haskins of Zebulon. Haskins is 4'11," weighs 90 pounds and has gray hair.
Haskins' car was found along Water Plant Road, but officials have been unable to determine if foul play is involved, or if she just ran off the road and wandered away from the vehicle.
Haskins was last seen wearing dark gray pants, a gray jacket and large felt hat.
Officials worry that temperatures have been so low overnight that she might be in a life-threatening situation due to exposure.
