WILSON — A suspected murderer is still at large after almost a week and is considered armed and dangerous.
Wilson County detectives are still looking for 32-year-old Dennis Carroll Walker of Wilson.
Authorities say Walker allegedly shot 50-year-old Kenneth Peele and 51-year-old Gail Bass in a mobile home park late last Sunday night in Wilson.
Peele later died, and Bass remains in critical condition.
Detectives say Walker fled the scene in Bass's 1989 white Ford Mustang. On Thursday, her car was found in Rowan County.
