FAYETTEVILLE — A chance for arena football in Fayetteville might be losing steam because of Cumberland County's tight budget.
A news conference was planned for Monday to announce the new team, but those plans may now be on hold. The county was supposed to help pay for the team's field, but county officials say they do not have the money.
The team would have been owned by the Carolina Cobras.
