Pet Visitation Privileges Revoked For Lee County Woman

Posted Updated

LEE COUNTY, N.C. — A woman who kept hundreds of dogs on her Lee County property can no longer visit the animals at the shelter.

A judge found Robert and Barbara Woodley guilty of animal cruelty last summer. The judge allowed them to visit while the animals received medical treatment. But the Animal Defense League complained that Barbara Woodley has become abusive to volunteers and the dogs, so the judge revoked her visitation rights.
