There is more trouble for a Fayetteville event planner charged with sex crimes.

Wednesday, Fayetteville police charged Jeffrey Scott Davis with 10 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.

Several local business owners say they gave Davis up to $500 to participate in a bridal show. The event never took place because Davis was being held in the Cumberland County Jail.

He says he plans to reimburse the money from the bridal show.

Davis was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor in December, which was changed to crimes against nature. He was later convicted for crimes against nature and for obtaining property by false pretenses.
