RALEIGH — How should North Carolina be represented on a new commemorative coin?
The United States Mint is issuing quarters for all 50 states.
A panel has decided on four possible designs for North Carolina's quarter, among them the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse or the Wright brothers' first flight.
Governor Jim Hunt will make the final decision.
The quarter should start circulating by March, 2001.
