RALEIGH — A couple is behind bars, charged in connection with the death of their 3-month-old son.
Raleigh Police found Malik Clark dead when they arrived at the Country Lodge motel on South Wilmington Street Sunday morning.
Christine Clark, 20, and Charles Clark, 31, are each being held on $10,000 bond.
They're charged with child neglect and with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police are still investigating and say they do not know how the baby died.
A 2-year-old boy living with the Clarks was taken into custody by Wake County Social Services on Sunday.
The Clarks are said to be from Iowa, and had been staying at the motel for the past three weeks.
