DURHAM, N.C. — Traffic is flowing again after an accident on westbound Interstate 40.

The accident occurred around 7:45 a.m. Monday at mile marker 282 between Page Road and Miami Boulevard. Authorities say a car and a dump truck were involved in the accident.
Authorities say one person had to be taken to the hospital with a neck injury.
Three of the four westbound lanes had been closed to traffic, but they have been reopened now.
