RALEIGH — No one was indicted in the beating death of Jason Cort of Cary but that decision may be reversed.
The Wake County grand jury is expected to meet Monday to discuss the case again.
In May, Cort died in a local hospital after he was chased from the Food Lion supermarket on Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh, and beaten.
Witnesses allege that Cort had robbed a cash register at the front of the store.
A grand jury heard the evidence but took no action.
