Raleigh Home to Cribbage Tournament

Posted Updated

RALEIGH — About 200 card players from all over the country were in Raleigh this weekend competing for bragging rights and a national title.

The 25th Annual Cribbage Tournament was held at the North Raleigh Hilton. The card sharks played hundreds of games during the three day tournament. Cribbage fans say the game is harder than it looks.

"You think you know something about it and all of a sudden you think you don't know anything about it," said tournament director Henry Douglass. "It's just a fun game."

The tournament ends Monday night. The winner will take home a $2,000 prize.
