Woman Killed, 2 Injured in Fayetteville Collision
Fayetteville police are investigating a car crash that killed a woman Saturday afternoon.
Posted — UpdatedFAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating a car crash that killed a woman Saturday afternoon.
Investigators said Marjorie Ballance, 70, was trying to turn into a parking lot off Grove Street when she was hit by an oncoming car and killed.
A child in Balance’s car and a child in the second car were both taken to Cape Fear Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the second car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Police have not filed any charges. However, officials said the accident is still under investigation.
