DURHAM — Basketball doesn't get any better than this! A tobacco road grudge match heated up on the court as the battle of the blues steamed up Cameron Indoor Stadium. March madness arrived a day early this year as fans dressed in blue took over

Fans couldn't have wished for a better game. The University of North Carolina and Duke took it to the wire Saturday afternoon. The first half of the game looked a lot like the meeting earlier this month. Carolina piled up a two digit lead and rolled into halftime in comfort.

In the second half the Blue Devils turned up the heat and chopped away at Carolina's lead. Duke took the lead with less than a minute to go and held on.

The final score: 77-75.

Saturday's game wrapped up regular season play for both schools. Duke and Carolina are picked to meet again at the ACC tournament finals and could even meet again in the Final Four.

ACC Tournament play gets underway Thursday in Greensboro. Duke will play the ninth seed Thursday night. WRAL will broadcast the game starting at 9 p.m.
