FAYETTEVILLE — The 2nd Airlift Squadron at Pope Airforce Base is flying to the Persian Gulf.
The deployment is part of a regular rotation in support of Operation Southern Watch.
The airmen are bringing equipment and personnel to the region. The entire squadron is scheduled to return in Mid-April.
