LUMBERTON — Department of Transportation workers are trying to prevent more accidents from happening on a stretch of Interstate-95 in Robeson County. Rumble strips are being installed along the highway near Lumberton.
Workers are also putting reflectors on top of concrete barriers.
Two fatal accidents on a construction zone there last month have sped up the effort to increase safety measures.
